The very Special 1 of 1 Pagani Zonda Riviera. The first we heard about the Riviera came in July following the release of a low-quality promo of the car.

Such a combination of white paint and carbon is typical of a Zonda but what makes the Riviera stand out are the bright blue accents, namely the central stripe running the length of the car, accents on the black wheels, and blue pinstripes running above the carbon side skirts. Other eye-catching touches of the car include four carbon canards on the front fascia, a roof scoop, large rear wing, shark fin, and an aggressive diffuser. For the most part, the exterior is very similar to the Zonda Cinque.

Inside, the cabin is also rather stunning. The two bucket seats have been bathed in blue leather and alcantara while the rest of the cabin is a mix of black alcantara, black aluminum and carbon fiber. The Riviera is believed to be powered by the same naturally-aspirated 7.

The Pagani Zonda just refuses to sink away into oblivion. The run of this Italian supercar spanned from the original model released in 1999 to the track-only Revolucion in 2013. But, despite being replaced by the Huayra in 2013, the Zonda kept living on through a multitude of one-offs.

The latest one, called the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta, combines design elements from the Huayra and many Zondas like the Zozo Special edition and the Zonda Cinque roadster that came before it. The Zonda HP Barchetta is a striking Zonda that is fitted with a narrow windscreen and partially covered rear wheels. A massive central air scoop rests behind the seats. This scoop, along with the front canards and the massive wing at the back, does the aerodynamic duties on this car.

From the Huayra BC, the Barchetta gets a pair of body-hugging seats and forged alloy wheels, 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the back. The body is finished in a hue of blue that gives the HP Barchetta a fresh feel, even though its basic design is nearing 20 years of age.

The same Mercedes Benz AMG V12 engine will continue to power the new car. In the HP Barchetta, it will be hooked up to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Generous usage of exotic materials like Chrome-moly vanadium steel tubings for the front and rear subframes, carbo-titanium and carbo-triax HP52 for the monocoque has helped Pagani trim the dry weight of the car down to 1250 kg.
